Upper Back (Thoracic) Mobility Video - Part 1
This week we are looking at the thoracic spine/upper back.
Mobility of the upper back is hugely important in a variety of ways. Lack of mobility, therefore, can lead to a multitude of problems including lower back or neck pain, slumping shoulders when walking, sitting or standing, chest dropping when picking up heavy things. It can also lead to shoulder problems, lack of range of movement, rotator cuff aches and pains as well as problems in lower limbs.
I have previously written a post about mobility and stability, well it was about men and mobility, but it depicts the areas in all humans which should be mobile and those that should be stable.
Our second video and hopefully the words are flowing a little better, the dog's behaviour improved too.
If you have any questions or would like to talk about personal training or movement coaching feel free to give me a call.
